Adam Stein has directed over 40 short films, which have won awards at film festivals around the country and been seen by millions of people around the world. He finished 3rd in FOX's "On The Lot," a prime time directing competition produced by Steven Spielberg, in which he wrote and directed a new short film every week. Adam's script "Tangles" received an Alfred P. Sloan Foundation grant for screenwriting, and his script "This Side Down" was purchased by Disney in 2009. He is currently working with a few writers to develop smart comedy features.

Prior to focusing on directing full-time, Adam worked as an editor for many independent feature films, including BLUE STATE, FLAKES, FIFTY PILLS, WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR?, and CRAZYLOVE. Adam studied directing at USC Film School and literature at Harvard. He is represented by UTA and Management 360.
